Our Team

Brad Parish
Partner

Brad offers his 34+ years of experience in intrapreneurship to clients nationwide. Embracing core values of integrity, innovation, and strong relationships, Parish consistently performs as a respected professional, partner, and visionary.

Brad served as an evaluation judge for the Federal Laboratory Consortium of Technology Transfer, evaluating the intellectual property and emerging technology from NASA, DOE, and other federal agencies. In addition, he has managed the startup of numerous companies from inception to multimillion dollars in revenue. As Vice President of both large and small corporations, he has helped win the Inc. 5000 Award for the fastest growing companies in the United States twice.

As a certified professional in human resources and expert in business performance, Brad has designed qualifications and certifications for large corporations such as Lockheed Martin Energy System and led corporate cultural initiatives, including training over 4,000 employees. He has also been a university professor specializing in corporate business management and performance plus directed a professional and technical college with a staff of 75 instructors and staff members.

Brad and his wife Esther, a Yale-educated Ph.D. scientist in stainability, live in beautiful East Tennessee with their high school daughter. At the same time, their son is a sophomore at the University of Alabama's Honor College, majoring in Civil Engineering and International Relations. Bradley enjoys spending his leisure time with his family, living life to the fullest while watching the sunset from the family's front porch overlooking the Clinch River in America's technology corridor hub of scientific research. 

Gold Darr Hood
Strategist

Gold is both a serial intrapreneur and entrepreneur. She spans the globe living in both the US and now in Europe. As a former Vice President of the multinational investment management company BlackRock, she helped bring ideas to life working in Budapest, Hungary, and London, UK locations. Gold lives her mission to help change lives by translating technological breakthroughs into practice.

At the age of 16, Gold graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Polymer and Fiber & German Minor, Vehicular Composites, Nanotechnology, Fiber Analysis and Testing, and Product Design. She then went on the obtain her MBA degree. 

Gold is currently residing in Europe and is on the board for her 7th startup. Her background is highly diverse, including industries varying from FinTech to fashion, medical technology, and human resources. She also served as an expert panelist and resource for the HubHub accelerator and has extensive experience in business development, prototyping, project management, market research, MVP and prototype development, IP development and protection, and early-stage investments from both sides of the table. Her fundamental core competency is acquiring new knowledge and expertise, which she can then use quickly and strategically.

Personally, Gold has lived or worked on three continents and is an avid traveler with a strong interest in linguistics, geopolitics, and unique experiences. She believes strongly that environmental, sustainable, and social governance (ESG) investment and business operations do not sacrifice returns and are the right way forward. She serves on nonprofit boards and is open to new requests for service or investments.​

Stan Duncan

Stan is an experienced Senior Principal Consultant and Intrapreneur with a demonstrated history of innovation, business development, and intrapreneurship from startups to large Fortune 500 companies. Stan has supported commercial and federal clients, including the newly formed Space Force. 

Stan is a founding Partner in ation group, llc. He is the former Vice President of Sales Operations at Variable, Inc. Variable integrated cutting-edge sensors with smart devices using NODE's wireless sensor platform. NODE pairs with smart devices through a Bluetooth connection, using Variable's official app (or third-party apps that use the company's integration hooks) to display, record, or email data. Stan's customers utilized NODE technology for breakthrough initiatives and ROI. Stan's role included:

• Identifying industry "breakthrough initiatives."
• Strategic level ideation and creative problem solving
• Drive value creation for clients and Variable, Inc.
• Assimilation of the C-Suite POV
• Negotiate and collaborate with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes
• Measuring the results of implementation
• Advocating client recommended product and service enhancements

Armillary spheres were among the first complex mechanical devices. Their development led to many improvements in the techniques and design of all mechanical devices. Renaissance scientists and public figures often had their portraits painted, showing them with one hand on an armillary sphere, which represented the height of wisdom and knowledge. They have undergone a lot of innovation as time and discoveries have been made.
